Saul Leitmann was born into this world. The only child of merchant and his wife, Saul spent his youth travelling with his parents in various caravans travelling throughout the midwest. From the very beginning his parents instilled a thirst for knowledge and history in the young boy. Their business allowed Saul to come into contact with many books, journals and articles from before the world went wrong. He cherished these artifacts and became more and more nostalgic as he grew. At the age of 16 his parents were both killed by bandits who raided the caravan they were travelling with. Saul, distraught and alone, looked to the past he so idealized to get him through the tough times. He stayed with the caravan, and when they ended up in Wisconsin Saul took the remainder of his family's wealth and began his quest for information. Now, at the tender age of 17, Saul is a lanky, shaggy haired youth. He seldom shows emotion, unless it involves a new book he found. His dirty brown locks fall on his forehead hiding his youthful face and dark eyes. His childhood of growing up outside combined with his youth make him a natural athlete, and his exposure to scores of merchants has allowed him to pick up certain social skills. He survives comfortably on his own, but now searches for a group called the Lorekeepers, a group that shares his nostalgia and that will appreciate his knowledge of the past.
